Barbara was born in New York. During childhood her family moved to the Territory of Alaska, where she eventually met and married her husband. They soon relocated to Colorado to raise their family and have lived there for the past 38 years. Her love of the Rocky Mountains and the beauty of flowers inspire most of her painting. She attends workshops throughout the year and is a member of several art clubs and guilds. Her paintings (watercolors and oils) are currently displayed in three mountain galleries and several business places in the Denver area. Her works also appear in various tshows in Colorado. She is an award winning artist. To show some of the beauty of God's creation is her artistic goal.
