Art has been a part of my life since I first learned to color in coloring books.  I took time off to raise my family but once my daughters were in school, I started lessons as a refresher.  Since that time I have attended workshops under many artists including Dalhart Winberg and have won some ribbons in shows.

After visiting Colorado, everywhere I looked I saw a painting - mountains, animals, wonderful old mine buildings.  While hiking and backpacking, I see places that some people may never see.  In my paintings I try to share my love of this beautiful part of the world with others.

I believe in painting every blade of grass, every tree, every hair on an animal, the lichen on the rocks.  As Carl Brenders wrote, “If God took the time to grow it, I’ll take the time to paint it.”
